About Onam

Onam is a ten-day long harvest festival celebrated in Kerala. The auspicious occasion marks the return of King Mahabali/Maveli to the state. Onam is an annual Indian celebrated predominantly by the people of Kerala. A major annual event for Keralites, it is the official festival of the state and includes a spectrum of cultural events.
